«DEZAVID-F» - A MEANS TO DISINFECT AND PROTECT
FOOD PRODUCTS


      Due to polymer nature of guanidine that is a component of the preparation, «DEZAVID» is effective as a means of disinfection and protection of food products (including meat products), fruits and vegetables from microorganisms.

     When a solution of «DEZAVID» dries up a superfine biocyde polymer pellicle forms on the disinfected surface and it provides a durable (up to 3 months) bactericide action of the preparation. Besides, this pellicle perfectly transmits air, which prevents torrefaction of products as it happens, for example, when wax is used for this purpose.

     Such characteristics of the preparation permit its efficient use for protection of cropped agricultural products from attacks of fungi and bacteria, as well as of foodstuffs kept in plastic bags.

     At present Turkey is conducting a full-scale test of «DEZAVID-F» as regards its effectiveness of prolongation of shelf life of fruits and vegetables.
